Realtor®, Buyer's Agent

Back in October 2011 I was a sales rep for a global rubber company. On my first day back to work after having my second child, my VP asked if I wanted the state of Michigan as my territory. A football fan born in Iowa but raised in Ohio—I’m a Hawkeye, not a Buckeye—I’d been to games in Ann Arbor. I knew it was a perfect fit for my family: diverse, eclectic and Midwestern. We moved here in March 2012 and never looked back.

But I left that global sales job that brought us here. Having two kiddos, I no longer wanted to be away on sales trips or work ungodly hours. I did want to stay in sales working with people since that is truly my deep-rooted passion. This where Trillium comes in.

Helping people find their perfect home has been an amazing experience so far and I look forward to helping hundreds more in my future!

I first met Sandi and Linda in 2013 at a beerfest in Ypsilanti as my husband is friends with their son Jason. Soon afterward, I was hired as office manager but shared my desire with them to get my Realtor® license after I learned the back end of the business.

Come to think of it, real estate is a natural fit:

  • I have ALWAYS had a passion for everything involving architecture and interior design.
  • After graduating from Kent State University I lived in Los Angeles until my early thirties and took classes at UCLA to become an interior decorator.
  • I am obsessed with Eames and Frank Lloyd Wright and have been to many of their homes. In fact, my cover photo of Taliesin West on the top of this page is designed by Wright.

In January 2015 I finally took the leap and earned my Realtor® license. After working nearly a year with Linda, I knew that joining her team as a buyer agent was the best way to start my real estate career. She knows the business inside and out and I strive to be as good at my career as she is!

I am LOVING the business so far. I look forward to learning something new every day from her and the other amazing agents in our office. It’s a great community of Realtors® who’ve become my friends, and I love that about Trillium. We enjoy one another’s company and respect each other as well.

Here we are at our annual Client Appreciation Picnic.
There's a whole lotta laughing going on.

My family is finally settled on the north side of Ann Arbor. My husband Joe works for a local environmental company, and our son and daughter are both happy in their schools. Another reason we love living here is that we’re between our Ohio family and our Chicago family, close enough but not too far for regular visits from most of our peeps! A perfect place.

Helping people find their perfect home has been an amazing experience so far and I look forward to helping hundreds more in my future!
