About our Founders
Trillium Real Estate was founded in 2001 by Sandi Smith and Linda Lombardini, two Ann Arbor Realtors® who thought a brokerage could be small, independent, and genuinely good at its job. Twenty-five years later, that is still the plan. Sandi, our President and Broker, is a past Realtor® of the Year and served as President of Michigan Realtors®. Linda has spent more than 30 years among Ann Arbor's top agents and is also a past Realtor® of the Year and past President of the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors®. Between them they have helped thousands of families move across Ann Arbor, Dexter, Chelsea, Saline, and Ypsilanti — and they still answer their own phones.

Sandi is passionate about real estate. She started in the business early on. As a student at the University of Michigan, she bought a FSBO, a home for sale by owner, and saw the need for the service that a professional would have provided. So after graduation, she became a Realtor®, improving the profession as she went.
Sandi has served on many committees for the Ann Arbor Board of Realtors, including Education, Grievance, Professional Standards, and even served as a Director. In 2007, she was named Realtor® of the Year.
She was first elected to the Michigan Realtors' Board of Directors in 2018, representing District 12, and was elected to Leadership in 2021. She served as State President in 2024.
As Broker for Trillium Real Estate, she enjoys helping our agents to grow successful real estate businesses.
